Established in 1996, Hallams has enjoyed a host of accolades for bringing our guests the finest in Tasmanian seafood. Situated on the edge of the Tamar River with breathtaking views of Launceston’s famous Cataract Gorge.
Our dining room boasts an open log fire which is perfect for those cooler Tassie months. We have a strong Tasmanian focus throughout the restaurant from our food to the construction – all natural local timbers such as Huon Pine, Celery Top and Myrtle.
We welcome you to stop by for a casual lunch or romantic dinner for two. We look forward to seeing you!
Staff and guest safety is paramount and in response to the increasing social gathering restrictions, it is in the best interests for our staff and guests that we temporarily close our doors. This is both to ensure we lessen the impact on our health system and also to ensure we are able to be part of rebuilding Tasmania’s hospitality sector, when this situation allows us to welcome you all back. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the last few months and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Stay safe, Hallams x
