With the final paint drying on our beautiful renovations, we are now welcoming online bookings! Hallams will be reopening to the public from the 16th of December.
We’ve spent the Winter months carrying out some renovations to our lovely little restaurant which saw the addition of private dining, a glorious deck and a host of other improvements, ensuring that Hallams is back with a bang. Executive Chef, Jake Kowalewski has designed a menu celebrating the finest in Tasmanian produce and we look forward to sharing it with you.
The story so far.
In late 2019, locally owned Norton Hospitality Group saw an opportunity to value the historic reputation of the business built up over 26 years by the Hallam Family.
After enjoying what felt like only a few weeks of ownership, Covid-19 arrived and presented its own raft of challenges.
Whilst the difficult decision was made to close the doors temporarily the team pressed forward with its plans to expand the existing facilities to include additional alfresco dining areas and to take the opportunity to give this lovely building a refresh.
